Sean McLoughlin
Originally from Gauteng, Sean had been a tattoo artist for the last decade.
After completing his BA (Hons) for Prosthetics and Make up in the Preforming Arts at the University of the Arts London, Sean returned to South Africa and began his tattoo apprenticeship at a tattoo studio in Hartbeespoort . There after he worked at tattoo studios in Hartbeespoort and Pretoria. As of August 2020 Sean has been working from his newly established tattoo studio in scenic Gordons Bay.
Be it a simple small decorative tattoo or a custom full sleeve, Sean takes on each client’s tattoo with professionalism, passion and a focus on delivering a great tattoo made just for the client. “For me tattooing is a very collaborative process between myself and my clients”. Sean is absolutely at home in the Neo-Tradition and Bio-Mechanical styles as well as being a self-described “all round” artist who is stylistically versatile and capable.
As well as being the boss tattoo artist at Black Crown, Sean is also the creator of Horrific Creations. A passion for horror and sculpting monsters turned into a side hustle, now housed at Black Crown Studio. Be sure to visit the Horriffic Creations online shop.
